More About Me

When you are born and raised in the Heartland…… Nebraska, there's something instilled. When you hear the words “Let's do this!” an inner sense awakens. You roll up your sleeves and let the hard work begin. You work until the job is done. You work until the job is done right.

This work ethic was my guide when I owned and operated a successful furniture showroom in the Seattle Design Center. My days were spent with furniture dealers, interior designers, architects, builders, stagers, and developers. It was a relationship business. Relationships built on trust and honesty.

Today, I reside on the Northwest tip of Decatur Island which is located in the San Juan Archipelago of Washington State. I live here all day, every day, and have owned properties on Decatur and Obstruction Islands for over 30 years. My heart strings are deeply attached to Obstruction Island, as that is where my three children grew up. Now my children return here to Decatur Island, and my grandchildren are learning that these islands touch the wildest parts of the soul; generation after generation, unplugged from today's chaos. Where time slows down, giving way for wholesome traditions to take hold. It's here, it happens, and it's magical.

By blending my Midwest ethics with local savvy, I can help those wishing to find their place in the outer islands. Whether you are relocating, investing for the future, or just want a second home on an island in the San Juans, I welcome the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and work with you on your own island lifestyle.
